From 05 to July 2019 in the territory of Rutshuru in Kiwanja was held a meeting of exchange of local actors involved in the field of Peace, those of young volunteers of the theatre of oppression of Amani Kwetu International, the church of Christ in Congo Rutshuru(ECC-Rutshuru), Some representatives of Protestant and Muslim schools and churches of Rutshuru ;from this exchange have emerged key recommendations to consolidate and intensify activities on the protection of the environment, human rights, equality and peaceful cohabitation at our borders in the sub-region of the Great Lakes, East Africa and elsewhere in the world on the Integral plan, so was born the vision of internationalizing Amani Kwetu International Aisbl AMI-africa.

Since May 2020, Amani Kwetu International Aisbl has extended its radius of action in East Africa and in the sub-region of the Great Lakes in the framework of rooting its vision and rooting cross-border relations between new generations aware that Africa needs them (their studies, their talents, their gifts, their ethnic-racial and linguistic differences) for its development. In these days within Amani Kwetu International Aisbl we now have Ugandans, Somalis and South Sudanese victims of wars and atrocities who live in refugee camps in Uganda in the hope of joining other countries.

Amani Kwetu Inetrnational trains its members during workshops and training sessions. However, it relies on qualified and vetted trainers to deliver its humanitarian programmes and guidelines to members and managers as well as to vulnerable populations, depending on the demands of the subject matter or the project being implemented.

As we are aiming for integral development, we need to work hand in hand with trainers from different parts of the world to offer training according to their specialities to our members and to the target population of our programmes, or we take part in dense programmes abroad within organisations that can welcome us to reinforce our capacities on behalf of our communities and relevant to the areas that our participants want to improve.

Amani Kwetu has a General Assembly in each country where it will have its office which reports to the International General Assembly which oversees all activities of Amani Kwetu International worldwide.

What Our readers write to us!

Without amani kwetu international aid, many families, communities, and even entire city may fall deep into a cycle of poverty that carries a number of domino effects that can last for generations. Humanitarian aid offsets the immediate effects of a crisis to reduce this greater risk.
