AMANI KWETU INTERNATIONAL AISBL as an international non-profit and Organization based in Africa, fighting prejudice, promoting peaceful coexistence, environmental protection and promotion of humans rights for sustainable development aligns with the logic of strategic planning, considered as an instrument of participation par excellence. The approach undertaken for this planning was designed in the sense of a participatory methodology so that the members and grassroots organizations concerned by this plan and its development so that they are involved in the different strategies that will be recorded.
To do this, the members of the AMANI KWETU INTERNATIONAL AISBL in the
extraordinary assembly of the institutional review had recommended to the organization to have Intervention strategies focused on well-defined axes, to shine in a sustainable and professional manner.
Water-Sanitation and Hygiene WASH

L’agriculture intelligente face au climat (AIC) dans une zone des conflits
Les fermiers du territoire de Rutshuru à l’Est de la République Démocratique du Congo ont plus besoin consolidation des mesures d’adaptation pour répondre urgemment a cette situation d’insécurité personnelle et climatique que le bouleversement politiques, guerres et rebellions leurs politique leurs impose. Monsieur Mumbere URIEL (habitant de Kiwanja) sensibilise de porte en porte sur la plantation des arbres agro forestiers sur le territoire de Rutshuru pour une agriculture Intelligente face au Climat dans une z one des guerres et conflits L’atténuation des effets de changement climatique sur l’environnement agricole dépendra de cette forte mobilisation que nous faisons sur ce territoire e Rutshuru a l’Est de la RDCongo,soucieux de notre environnement nous allons agir quotidiennement à sensibiliser les populations locales a majorités les femmes fermières sur cette urgence, les informer et les former comment mettre en œuvre les mesures d’adaptations de certaines cultures vivrières et plantes importantes (les plantes qui absorbent plus de CO 2 ) pour le maintien de cette équilibre écologique.

Constructive Usage of war veteran for peace Program (inclusion et reinsertion social)
When formers rebels, war veterans, formers childs soldiers’ testimonies saves lifes in a conflict Region To establish a close relationship between the context of war in the Democratic Republic of Congo and in Europe and to seek ways of circumventing certain obstacles arising from the context of war in the Democratic Republic of Congo in order to - Establish the objectives of work in target environments affected by conflict and war, - Establish working strategies in these different target environments for dialogue. To use wars veterans and formers militiamens testimonys for savings lifes Make peace thanks to war veterans, i.e. former government soldiers as well as former rebels and militiamen who have decided to take part in peace-building. One child, Two trees program
How can we conciliate Climate change and Peace in a conflict region ? Children for climate change in a war-torn region (Rutshuru- DRCongo) One child = one tree, one child = one tree programme Since 2016, Eliezer Kasereka and Rachel Muhani launched the one child equals one tree programme, a programme within Amani Kwetu International that taught children in Rutshuru to take an active part in restoring planet earth. Primary schools, churches and non-profit associations were our target. The aim was to help children living in conflict zones to reconcile climate action with the environment and peace in their respective environments, using weather conditions to help them understand the Earth's movements, rotation and translation, the different seasons, climate change, the greenhouse effect and climate justice. The course was given in the form of games and ended in a serious way, so that these young adults in miniature became aware of the seriousness of the situation facing the universe, Today the program still and it’s now One child equal two trees by our Agronom Mr Demande SIKULITSEMIRE The programme consisted of planting trees in the Rutshuru area; in schools and fruit trees in their homes, so that each child will be in charge of two trees, their private trees, which they will water every morning before leaving home and when they arrive at school. The children who are responsible, i.e. those who correctly follow the process of taking care of their private trees, will receive a good reward; gifts and influence the teachers to add a few points during class work on the land and the environment and it’s formers child soldiers who teach strategies for reconcililing climate change and peace to children living in these conflict zones,referringto the strategies for building peace thanks to war vetrerans
